Accessible care begins with accessible information. AIRA Behavioral Health LLC is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities have full and equal access to the information and services offered through this website, consistent with the spirit and intent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Standards we follow
This website is designed and maintained with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our reference standard. These guidelines are widely used to evaluate website accessibility, including under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Screen reader support
Pages use semantic HTML landmarks, a declared page language, descriptive page titles, a single main heading per page, and a logical heading order so screen reader users can understand and navigate the content.
Keyboard navigation
All links, buttons, menus, and expandable questions can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to main content” link appears at the top of every page, and focus indicators remain visible.
Readable text and color contrast
Our forest green, ivory, and gold palette was selected so body text and headings exceed the minimum contrast ratios required at Level AA. Text can be enlarged in the browser without loss of content or function.
Images and icons
Meaningful images include descriptive alternative text, and decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology so they do not interrupt screen reader users.
Predictable, calm design
There is no auto-playing audio or video, no flashing content, and no pop-up interruptions. Appointments are scheduled by telephone, so no complex online form is required to reach the practice.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We review the website as content changes, test with automated accessibility tools and keyboard navigation, and correct issues as they are identified. Some third-party content, such as an embedded map, is provided by outside vendors and may not be fully within our control; where that is the case, the same information is also available in text form on our Contact page.
